The Initiatives That Are Transforming Infrastructure and Investment in Medellín and Antioquia

The main projects driving competitiveness, economic development, and investment in Medellín and Antioquia were analyzed in a recent interview conducted by CLM Cargo—a company that is part of ACI Medellín’s MedConnectors partner network—on its program “Frecuencia Logística.” The segment featured Nicolás Rodríguez, Director of Investment at ACI Medellín, who shared his perspective on the opportunities that currently position the region as one of the most attractive destinations for investment in Latin America. During the conversation, strategic sectors such as technology, creative industries, entertainment, and real estate development were highlighted, as well as the impact that large-scale infrastructure projects will have on regional competitiveness. Initiatives such as Puerto Antioquia, the Antioquia Railroad, the Caldas logistics hub, and the expansion of José María Córdova Airport were presented as key strategies to strengthen connectivity, reduce logistics costs, and establish Medellín and Antioquia as a business hub with national and international reach. We invite you to learn more about these opportunities and the region’s development prospects by watching the full interview conducted by CLM Cargo.
