The region possesses a mature institutional framework with extensive experience in the transparent, technical, and efficient management of international cooperation resources, both financial and technical.

Through the ACI Medellín, the city-region has worked for more than 24 years in managing international cooperation with multilateral agencies, governments, foundations, and global networks, guaranteeing effective execution, monitoring and evaluation, and alignment with local and global priorities such as the Sustainable Development Goals.
